What to ask
Talk the way you would to a planner. The assistant picks the tools.
- Here is our guest list. Add everyone to our wedding chart in PlanSeats.
- Our reception room is 60 by 40 feet. Add 12 round tables of 8 and a dance floor.
- Seat everyone, keep my two uncles apart, and put the college friends together.
- Who still has not chosen a main course?
- Move Aunt Rosa to the table closest to the dance floor.
- Undo the last change.
In ChatGPT and Claude the assistant can also open the visual workspace, with your floor plan, tables and guest list right in the chat, so you can drag guests yourself.

How your chart stays safe
An assistant gets no more reach than you have, and nothing it does is final.
It acts as you
The assistant sees only the charts your account can open, with the same permissions you have on the website.
One chart, not a copy
Changes save to the chart you use on the website, and an open editor shows them as they land.
Undo for seven days
Any change made through an assistant can be undone from any chat for seven days.
Big steps wait for you
Removing tables, deleting a chart, sharing a link or inviting someone opens a review. Nothing happens until you confirm it.
Rate limits
Each person gets 60 tool calls a minute and a daily limit on guests added through assistants, so a runaway loop cannot flood a chart.
What an assistant receives, and what disconnecting does, is in the Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting
- The assistant does not use PlanSeats
- Start a new chat and check PlanSeats is turned on in the tools menu. If it still does not, disconnect and connect again.
- It asks you to sign in again
- Sign-ins expire after a while. Sign in again and pick up where you left off.
- Your chart is missing
- The assistant sees the charts of the account you signed in with. Check it is the same account you use on the website.
- You want to disconnect
- Disconnect PlanSeats in your assistant’s connector or app settings. That stops its access right away, and your charts stay in PlanSeats.
