How do I upload my venue’s floor plan?

Choose Upload floor plan and add a JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF up to 20 MB. PlanSeats reads the rooms, walls, doors and tables on it and shows you what it found. Nothing lands on your chart until you say so.

1. Create a chart and choose Upload floor plan, or open the Room panel on a chart you already have.
2. Add the file. For a PDF, pick the page and drag a box around the plan.
3. Check the rooms in the review. Service rooms and hallways are skipped unless you keep them.
4. Place the rooms. The whole import can be undone from the message that follows.

The clearer the drawing, the better the read. A plan straight from the venue beats a photo of one.
