How do I make sure two guests sit together?

In the guest list, tick the guests and choose Keep together. Auto-seat then puts them at the same table. You can pick as many guests as belong together, not just two.

A rule guides auto-seat and flags a problem. It never stops you seating someone by hand: if you split them up yourself, their rows show a conflict badge so you can see it.

Plus-ones already sit beside the guest who brings them wherever the table has room, with no rule needed.
