Can I measure a distance on the plan?

Yes. Choose Measure in the canvas tools, then drag between two points, or click to drop one end and click again for the other. The ruler shows the distance in your plan’s unit and snaps to tables and furniture. Escape stops measuring.

The measure reads the plan’s scale, so on a dimensioned room or an uploaded plan you have calibrated the numbers are real. On a freeform canvas with no size, measure against a table you know the size of first.
