Do I need my venue’s floor plan to make a seating chart?
No. You can seat everyone on a blank canvas, or type your room’s width and length and get walls at the real size. An uploaded plan helps when the room has an odd shape, columns or a stage you need to work around.
Most venues will email a floor plan if you ask the events coordinator. A photo of a printed plan works too, as long as the room is flat and in focus.
