Can I use metres instead of feet?

Yes. Pick Feet or Meters in the Room panel, or when you set up the room. Table sizes, room sizes and measurements all follow your choice. Once the venue has walls, its units stay as they were drawn.

The room presets change with the unit too, so a metric room starts at sensible metric sizes.
