What happens when I hit the free plan limit?

Nothing is lost. When you reach 20 guests, 4 tables or a second event, PlanSeats stops there and offers the upgrade. An import that runs past the guest cap pauses, and after checkout the rest of the list comes in on its own.

Everything you have already added stays exactly as it is. A guest list you were importing waits in place; there is nothing to re-upload.

One exception: tables placed from a public template are not counted against the table cap, so a template room stays whole on the free plan. The guest cap still applies.
