What is the difference between a viewer and an editor?

An editor can change everything on the chart: tables, guests and seats. A viewer can open it and look, and nothing more. You choose the role when you invite someone, and the owner can change it later from the Collaborators panel.

The owner is the person who created the event. Only the owner can invite, remove and change roles. Give your partner editor; give the venue viewer or, simpler, a view-only link.
