How do I line tables up neatly?

Drag a table and guides appear when its centre or edge lines up with another table; let go and it snaps. The arrow keys nudge a selected table a little at a time, and Shift-selecting several moves them together.

For a room of rounds in a grid, place the first row by hand, then duplicate the tables and nudge the copies into line. The measure tool checks the gaps: see Can I measure a distance on the plan?
