Does PlanSeats work on my phone or iPad?
Yes. The editor has a layout for a phone, one for a tablet and one for a desktop, and the same chart opens in all three. Drawing a floor plan is easier on a big screen; moving a guest, checking who is seated and looking someone up work well on a phone.
On a phone the panels slide over the plan and two buttons open them. On an iPad the panels dock beside the plan and the canvas answers touch: pinch to zoom, drag to pan, tap a seat to seat someone.
On the day, staff with a phone use day-of mode in PlanSeats Pro: search a guest, see the table and the meal.
