What is the difference between a seating chart and a floor plan in PlanSeats?

The floor plan is the room: its walls, its tables and where they stand. The seating chart is who sits at which seat. In PlanSeats they are one page: place tables on the plan, then seat guests on them, and every export reads both.

You can have a seating chart with no floor plan at all: a blank canvas with tables is enough to seat everyone and print the chart. The floor plan matters when the venue needs to know where things go.
