Yes. Every search reads the live chart, and a guest who leaves the page open sees their result refresh within about a minute. Move a guest in the editor or in day-of mode and the next scan shows the new seat.

Guests who have declined never appear, and a plus-one whose name you never learned cannot be searched for, because there is no name to match.
